Stephen studied acting at ALRA and during his time there he represented the school in both the William Poel festival held at The Globe and the Carleton Hobbs BBC Radio competition. He has studied clown, bouffon and physical comedy with Philippe Gaulier, Complicite's Jozef Houben, Aitor Basauri, John Wright and John Mowat. Previous performance projects so far include two seasons with Theatre Lab, the Finborough’s Discovery season in which he played Sorbier in the revival of Satre’s Men Without Shadows, various projects with Short Story Theatre including Ringo in Time Out Critics Choice play The Waiting Game and Taylor in Baggage.
He was also in the Raindance nominated film Like Other People Do and a shortlisted Pepsi Comp short directed by Chris Chung. He has worked for Comedy Box appearing in their Very Real Adventures of Batman and Robin Series and stared in All Fall Down which was screened at the Cannes Film Festival.
